Job summary

Alberta is seeking experienced roofers to install built-up and single-ply roofing systems across Canada at commercial and institutional sites. You will work at various locations, handling asphalt felts, hot asphalt and gravel, and applying waterproof sheet materials.

Responsibilities include installing sheet metal flashings, operating hand and power tools, and adhering to WHMIS safety standards. A strong emphasis on safety, physical fitness, and the ability to work at heights is required.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
• Experience with roofing systems is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install built-up roofing systems using asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel.
• Install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials like modified plastics or elastomeric compounds.
• Install sheet metal flashings and perform basic roof repairs.
