Job summary

Vertex Resource Group in Calmar, Alberta is seeking an experienced Roll Off Driver for a full-time role at our Calmar, AB location. The successful candidate will operate roll-off vehicles, perform pre/post trip inspections, and maintain accurate paperwork while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualified applicants will have a valid Class 1 license with a clean 5-year abstract, at least 1 year of roll-off experience, and safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license and clean 5-year CDL abstract.
• Minimum 1 year Roll Off driving experience.
• Winch Roll Off experience is an asset.
• Oil & Gas field experience is an asset.
• Safety tickets including First Aid/CPR, CSO, CSTS20, TDG and H2S Alive.
• Commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time/productivity.
• Must be in good health and physically fit.
• Integrity and reliability; willing to accept after-hours calls.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company policies, health and safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete daily scheduled deliveries and services promptly.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Complete and maintain paperwork including logs, dispatch reports and timesheets.
• Follow local, provincial and federal compliance rules.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and routine maintenance; report inefficiencies.
• Observe all company operating guidelines and environmental health and safety rules.
