Job summary

CFT Recycling in Ottawa, ON is seeking a Roll-Off Truck Driver with a valid AZ license to join our growing team. This front-line role delivers, swaps, and empties bins across the Ottawa region, ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site.

The starting wage is CAD 30.00/hour with a CAD 2.00/hour safety and performance bonus, paid bi-weekly. Strong attention to maintenance and MTO/CVOR compliance will help you succeed in this outdoor role under all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3+ years of Roll-Off driving experience is required.
• Valid AZ License for at least 3 years (required).
• Clean driver’s abstract and solid safety record.
• Strong knowledge of MTO compliance, CVOR, load securement, and daily inspections.
• Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Mechanically inclined with a keen eye for vehicle performance.
• Reliable transportation to our yard (not accessible by public transit).

Responsibilities

• Deliver, swap, and empty roll-off bins at customer sites
• Comfortable with operating a pup trailer
• Secure all loads in compliance with legal and safety standards
• Conduct full pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily
• Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch and operations staff
• Represent CFT Recycling with professionalism and respect on every job site
• Keep your truck clean, roadworthy, and safe at all times
• Use sound judgment to spot and report maintenance issues early
• Follow all MTO regulations, company procedures, and safety protocols
• Basic truck maintenance (Ex. greasing truck)

Position Overview:

We’re on the hunt for a skilled and reliable Roll-Off Truck Driver with a valid AZ license and clean Driver's Abstract. This front-line position plays a key role in our daily operations across the Ottawa region, helping deliver, swap, and empty bins safely, efficiently, and professionally.

The starting wage for this position is $30.00/hour. With a $2/hour safety and performance bonus calculated and paid Bi-Weekly.

Key Responsibilities:
