Job summary

Kieswetter Excavating Inc. in Waterloo Region is seeking Full Time Skilled Operators to join a fourth‑generation, family‑owned team that performs excavation, site grading and site servicing. Work is outdoors on high-profile projects with ongoing opportunities to learn and grow.

Typical duties include operating equipment, routine inspections, adherence to safety programs, and coordination of project details. Regular attendance, overtime, and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel to Waterloo Region.
• Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Previous experience in construction, manufacturing or outdoor environment.
• Knowledge of grades, levels and trenching.
• Previous construction experience.
• Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to recognize, communicate and eliminate hazards.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and maintains the equipment daily.
• Complies with Company Safety Program.
• Organization of project details, locates, performance objectives.
• Communication of any discrepancy.
• Ability to plan ahead.
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.

Work Location:

Mostly Waterloo Region some travel in Southern Ontario.
