Job summary

White Lake Limited Partnership seeks an experienced Rock Truck Driver for the Wesdome mine site in Ontario. Successful candidates will operate the rock truck safely, perform pre/post inspections, and maintain records as required.

Rotation is 10 on/4 off with 12-hour shifts. Camp accommodations with meals are provided. On-site stay is required for the rotation; daily commuting is not available.

• Responsible for pre/post vehicle inspections and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicle condition, site and driving conditions.
• Care and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
• Take direction and communicate verbally.

White Lake Limited Partnership, through a joint venture with LH North., is now recruiting for reliable and experienced Rock Truck Driver to our roster at the Wesdome mine site.

Successful candidates must have surface common core and experience on Rock Truck, and must be willing to stay on site in camp accommodations with meals provided.
Reporting to the onsite Project Manager, the Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the truck.
This position is located at Wesdome mine site and drivers must remain at the mine site for the duration of their rotation (i.e. daily commuting cannot be accommodated). 10 on and 4 off rotation 12-hour shifts travel on first day and last day. Hourly rate of pay is $35 with a $65 per day peridium.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Project Manager

• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required paperwork
• Constantly monitor vehicle condition, site and driving conditions
• Care and maintenance of the interior and exterior of vehicle
• Be able to take direction and communicate verbally
• Performs other related duties as required

Preference will be given to Band and Community Members of Netmizaaggmig Nishnaabeg First Nation. Please note that band members living on Reserve land may qualify for tax free income.
