Job summary

Multimatic in Ontario East Gwillimbury is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician for the afternoon shift. You will perform maintenance and repair work in the plant or grounds, monitor assembly processes, troubleshoot issues, and maintain inventory of spare parts.

You will participate in the Preventative Maintenance Program, document work orders, prepare reports, train new hires, and support related departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work in the plant or grounds.
• Assure assembly quality specifications by monitoring the assembly processes on the equipment.
• Troubleshoot all aspects of the assembly process as required.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and inform if stock is low.
• Maintain up-to-date equipment documentation and record changes.
• Solve maintenance problems with minimal production interruption.
• Participate in the Preventative Maintenance Program and PMP checks.
• Prepare shift problem list and daily work orders in MVP system.
• Assist in safety/operation procedures development and training.
• Provide support to related departments as required.
