Job Summary :

The Robotic Programmer / Systems Integration Technologist will be responsible for programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting robotic welding systems. This role requires a strong welding background, extensive programming skills, and the ability to interface effectively with customers. The ideal candidate will have experience with KUKA Robots and Servo Motor Seam tracking and will be capable of leading our Programming and Robotic division.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Program, commission, and troubleshoot robotic welding systems.
2. Resolve issues with robotic welding systems.
3. Provide training and support to customers on robotic welding systems.
4. Work remotely as required to support customer needs.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, particularly in Southern Louisiana, ensuring high levels of communication and adaptability to fit their cultural and work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

1. Welding background with formal training (CBW certificate or equivalent preferred).
2. Experience welding with a robot.
3. Experience in programming robots for welding applications.
4. Ability to commission new robotic welding systems.
5. Troubleshooting skills for robotic systems.
6. Willingness to travel and work remotely as required. Must have a Canadian passport and be able to travel to the U.S.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications :

1. Experience with offline programming, path programming, and simulations.
2. Experience with PLC programming (basic or advanced).
3. Experience with seam tracking and adaptive technology integration.
4. Experience with KUKA Robots and Servo Motor Seam tracking.
5. Ability to train and support customers effectively.
6. Potential to oversee the Programming and Robotic division.
