Job summary

Truck Hero, Inc. seeks a Robotics Technician to maintain and optimize industrial robots and automated systems in our Magog plant, Canada.

You will work with maintenance, engineering and production teams to ensure proper robotic operation and safety. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, electrical and programming issues on ABB, Fanuc, and KUKA robots, performing installations and commissioning of new equipment, and implementing improvements to reduce downtime while training operators

Qualifications

  • Requires DEC/DEP in robotics, automation, electromechanics or related field.
  • Experience in maintenance or programming of industrial robots is an asset.
  • Knowledge of electricity, pneumatics, mechanics, and automation.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeter, programming software, etc.).
  • Ability to read electrical plans and technical diagrams.
  • Analytical mind, autonomy, and a sense of priorities.
  • Availability to work different shifts or on call, as needed.

Responsibilities

Job description
