Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Mississauga site is looking for a new Senior Road Logistics Business Development Manager to join our Road Logistics team.

Your Role

As the Road Logistics Business Development Manager, you'll be leading the development of Road Logistics by actively showing customer excellence and role model behavior while acting as liaison between sales and the business unit.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Develop new value proposition for Road Logistics and push marketing activities (i.e., creating tools for sales).
  2. Collaborate in sales activities with sales team members.
  3. Identify new target markets and areas.
  4. Create senior-level entry points to key accounts.
  5. Support pricing strategies for RFQs and clients.
  6. Engage in customer retention activities.
  7. Lead annual GRI process.
  8. Ensure proper transitioning of customers to operations in line with customer requirements and timely updates of sales activities utilizing CRM system.
  9. Prepare and conduct customer visits, presentations, negotiations, QBRs, and contracts.
  10. Other duties as assigned by the Company.

Your Skills and Experiences
  1. 5+ years industry experience in Canadian Road Logistics.
  2. Understanding of Road Logistics, including sales and account management, operations, service offerings, and overall market.
  3. Post-secondary education (preferred).
  4. Sales and negotiation skills.
  5. Interpersonal and communication skills.
