Job summary

Canadian Road Builders is seeking Labourers/Flaggers for their Lafrentz Road Marking Durables Division based in Acheson, Alberta. This full-time seasonal opportunity offers on-the-job training and advancement opportunities, with duties including supporting road marking projects both locally and out of town.

The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, and eager to learn in a safety-focused environment, with a starting wage of $20 per hour and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (asset).
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with recent CDL abstract.
• Reliable transportation (no public transit in Acheson).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to perform manual labour (lift up to 40kg/90lbs).
• Willingness to work out of town for up to 2 weeks at a time (work in AB, BC, SK, YT, NWT & MB).
• Willingness to work occasional night shifts.
• Ability to work overtime hours.
• Must meet all safety requirements including pre-employment fit and drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Support road marking projects.
• Work both locally and out of town.
• On-the-job training with opportunities for advancement.

Skills
