Position: Med/Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time

The Med/Neuro ICU is seeking a dedicated Full-Time RN to join our team. The nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, delegating appropriate tasks, communicating effectively with the multidisciplinary care team, and documenting care accurately.

The Med/Neuro ICU is a recently renovated 20-bed unit that provides high-acuity, adaptable care to medical, neurological, and surgical patients admitted to FirstHealth. The unit has been recognized for being CAUTI-free for 2 years and has received a Five-Star rating from Healthgrades for the treatment of Stroke and Respiratory Failure. We aim to develop and maintain a highly educated nursing staff to meet current and future healthcare demands.

Requirements:

• NC RN or Multistate RN license
• At least 1 year of ICU or PCU experience (2 years ICU experience required for Weekend Incentive Pay)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be completed within 60 days of hire)
