Salary

In accordance with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards of practice and Fraser Health's Mission and Values, the Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides and coordinates person-centered and recovery-oriented nursing care to clients experiencing problematic substance use. Responsibilities include assessment, referrals, counselling, client and family teaching, follow-up, and health promotion activities. The role demonstrates nursing expertise and clinical leadership through direct care activities such as assessments, crisis intervention, treatment, and group facilitation.
Education, Training & Experience
Graduation from an approved Nursing Program with current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with BCCNM. Additional qualifications include completion of approved addictions or substance use training, one year of recent related experience, and possibly other certifications and licenses as specified.
