Salary: The salary range for this position is CAD $41.42 - $59.52 / hour.
In accordance with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards, the RN/RPN provides person-centered and recovery-oriented nursing care to clients experiencing substance use issues. Responsibilities include assessment, referrals, counseling, education, and follow-up, demonstrating nursing expertise and clinical leadership.
Education, Training & Experience: Graduation from an approved Nursing Program with current registration as RN or RPN with BCCNM. Additional training in addictions or substance use preferred, along with relevant experience. May require certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
Skills and Abilities: Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and counseling skills; knowledge of mental health and substance use treatments; excellent communication and teamwork abilities; ability to operate related equipment and maintain clinical documentation.
