Qualifications

One year's recent experience in gerontological nursing or equivalent.
Current Level 1 First Aid certificate.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to plan and document interventions.
Provide direct nursing care including wound and dementia care.
Communicate assessments and changes to care providers.
Skills
Knowledge of nursing theory and evidence-informed practice
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to apply clinical knowledge in practice
Ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work
Education
Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse degree
