Job summary

Ksyen Regional Hospital in the Northern Health network is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our patient care team. The RN will support admission, discharge and transfer processes, ensuring efficient bed allocation and high-quality care.

Under supervision, the nurse will coordinate patient care across teams, assist in maintaining care standards, and help run the hospital when managers are unavailable. This role covers day and night shifts with rotating hours.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Canada or eligible for registration.
• Experience coordinating admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate admission, discharge and patient transfer processes.
• Coordinate patient/resident care in collaboration with care teams.
• Promote efficient bed allocation and patient placement for quality care.
• Assist Program Managers in maintaining standards of care and operate hospital in managers’ absence.
