Job description

Summary

Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessing patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, ensuring nursing care is provided safely and competently, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.

Essential Functions
  1. Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
  2. Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
  3. Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
  4. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  5. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
  6. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Required
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support [ACLS (AHA)] - Preferred

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification [PALS] - Preferred
Experience

Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required.
