Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an OR Registered Nurse (RN) for our operating room. This role focuses on preparing the OR, assisting the surgical team, maintaining sterile field, and protecting patient safety during procedures.

Ideal candidates have ADN/BSN and active RN licensure, with 1–2 years of OR or perioperative experience preferred. BLS and ACLS required; CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and protocol.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients.
• Prepare the operating room and necessary equipment prior to procedures.
• Act as a circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse during surgical procedures.
• Monitor the patient’s condition before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Document all aspects of nursing care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Handle surgical specimens per facility protocols.
• Advocate for patient safety and well-being at all times.

Shift: 12 Hours

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care during surgical procedures. This includes preparing the OR, assisting the surgical team, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure. The OR RN works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other nursing staff.

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN).

Licensure

Current and valid RN license.

Certifications

BLS and ACLS required (CNOR preferred).

Experience

Minimum 1-2 years of OR or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
