We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and help us expand our reach and impact in the community.Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible to provide direct nursing care to patients, do initial and on-going in person assessments for our clients and provide direct nursing services as required. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a deep understanding of the care industry.Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician or according to established policies and protocols
- Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
- Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
- May supervise other nursing staff
- May develop and implement discharge planning process on admission of patients
- May teach and counsel patients and their families on health-related issues in collaboration with other health care providers.
Qualifications:- Current member in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and adheres to the Standards of Practice and other professional guidelines of the BCCNM Demonstrated clinical competencies and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with residences, families, and interdisciplinary health care team
- Ability to prioritize in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of nursing practice
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English (other languages an asset)
- Maintains a safe working environment by following health and safety guidelines
- Organized and detailed oriented.
