Corewell Health South Homecare provides high-quality in-home care for patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics. We focus on short-term assistance with daily activities and specialized treatments, addressing a vital need for affordable community-based healthcare. Our nurses are assigned to specific territories to minimize driving and maximize patient interaction. About Corewell Health South - Lakeland Hospitals

The health system includes three hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 physician practice locations, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services across Southwest Michigan.

Scope of work

The RN utilizes the nursing process within the ANA scope of practice to deliver professional nursing care, incorporating patient-family centered care principles. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and discharging patient care, in collaboration with patients and families. The RN works under the direction of the Nurse Leader, following Corewell Health policies, and documents patient education and care plans accordingly.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associates Degree in Nursing
  • Current MI RN license
  • MI Driver's License
  • AHA or ARC BLS certification within 90 days

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in acute care, emergency, or rehab facilities

Type: Full-time

Shift: Day (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with variable weekends
