12-Month maximum term part-time opportunity (64 hours per fortnight)

About the Role

Joondalup Health Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team as part of a Clinical Enhancement Program. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in developing their skills in a structured learning program and within a supportive team.

Working in our 22-bed Cardiac Care Unit which investigates and treats chronic and acute cardiac conditions, you will work alongside our friendly team of experienced health professionals. You will be exposed to all aspects of cardiac critical care nursing.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be you will be required to provide expert nursing care to complex patients. Under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of each patient in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

The flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster is essential for this role.

About You

The successful candidate will meet the following essential criteria:

  • Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience in an acute care setting (acute medical ward preferred)
  • Demonstrated interest in cardiac nursing.
  • Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to nursing practice in the workplace
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development
