Job Overview

Location: St. Anthony's Hospital Midwest City, 2825 Parklawn Drive, Midwest City, OK 73110

Department: 7M Med/Surg Cardiac

Schedule: Full-time, Nights 7pm-7am

Compensation: Starting at $34.22+ per hour (based on experience and equity), with shift differentials for night, weekend, and additional shifts

Sign-on Bonus: $10,000

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate nursing staff during assigned shifts, including performance evaluations
  • Assess patient care needs and develop appropriate care assignments
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes
  • Evaluate patient care effectiveness and address issues impacting outcomes
  • Handle patient care complaints through established channels
  • Assist in hiring, training, and staff development as needed
  • Maintain safety and alertness at all times
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of registered nurse experience
Licenses and Certifications
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin, as applicable, including requirements for compact states or specific state licensing
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting (0-25 lbs), sitting, reaching, and data entry
  • Use of vision, hearing, and smell for clinical assessments
  • Occasional lifting of 25-50 lbs and patient movement
  • Repetitive movements and occasional driving
