Job Description
Med Sol prescreens/manager reviews and offers. Need 2 supervisor references (charge accepted) at submission; 1 within 12 months & 1 within 3 years worked. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.
Prior to signing the contract, the DYS exam through Relias is required and must be completed within 24-48 hours. It’s pass or fail with 2 attempts. A screenshot showing the number of attempts is required. If previously taken within 12 months, it can be accepted. Failure after 2 attempts results in DNU.
Unit Cath Lab & IR. Will consider those that do not scrub. Notes obtained by email with manager. 3 beds in suites/labs.
Certifications: ARRT (if applicable), ACLS, BLS; Techs require RCIS and BLS. Average of 10 cases per day. EMR: Cerner. Charge nurse available. Cath lab/IR techs required.
Weekend call required every other weekend from Friday 1530 to Monday 0700. Response time for calls is 30 minutes. Holidays are rotating. Hospital provided scrubs. Vents, IV team, RT, pharmacy available 24/7.
Shifts are generally 8 hours with varied start times, usually around 7am. No floating. Orientation depends on skill level, typically 1-2 shifts. Procedures include cardiac invasive, peripheral, carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, and interventions. No structural heart procedures or 'dirty' procedures like PEGs or G-tubes.
Minimum of 2 years cath lab experience required.
