Job Description

ROOFTOP LOADER / SHIPPER AND RECEIVER

Roofmart is a major Canadian distributor of residential and commercial roofing and siding products with an extensive network of locations nationwide.

• Safely load bundles of shingles and related products onto roofs.
• Handle the loading, unloading, moving, shipping, and receiving of products and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Load shingles and related products onto rooftops
• Collaborate with drivers to ensure safe and efficient deliveries
• Handle materials manually and with appropriate equipment
• Ensure accuracy in order picking, tagging, and double-checking
• Maintain clean and organized work environments
• Comply with all health and safety regulations
• Perform other duties as required

Ideal Candidate

• Physically capable of lifting and working at heights
• Fall protection and working at heights training (available if needed)
• Valid forklift license (training available)
• Ability to repeatedly lift, push, and carry 80-100 lbs
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred
• Knowledge of the roofing industry is an asset
