In December 2024, Boomi acquired Rivery, a SaaS ELT tool. To support rapid enablement of the Rivery sales cycle differentiators and processes for 200 Boomi salespeople, the Rivery sales team became a specialist overlay team to the global organization. This means that the primary Account Executive (AE) or Account Manager (AM) is responsible for working with the prospect or client, while the Rivery Specialists actively assist the Boomi AE/AM through new sales, renewals, and upsell processes.

This is a unique role that combines sales understanding with deep product and industry knowledge.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Support commercial and enterprise sales teams to upsell Rivery to current Boomi accounts and sell Rivery to new logo accounts.
  • Become an expert in the Rivery sales playbook, processes, POC best practices, differentiators, and pricing methodologies to assist AEs in implementing these best practices.
  • Work with the Enablement team to support phased enablement of sales teams to be self-sufficient in selling Rivery by 2025, scaling efforts as much as possible.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level audiences, using your deep knowledge of Boomi and Rivery products to help customers formulate strategies.
  • Utilize strategic probing to evaluate and propose business solutions.
  • Design post-sale implementation plans.
  • Analyze market factors to anticipate customer needs and recommend solutions.
  • Engage cross-functional resources to meet goals and customer needs.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Build customer confidence by demonstrating expertise and professionalism throughout sales engagements.

To align your activities with Boomi's sales and business objectives, you will assist Boomi reps to:

  • Accurately forecast future sales.
  • Execute pipeline and growth strategies.
  • Track and report on sales metrics.
  • Conduct territory planning.

The Experience You Bring

  • Prior experience with ETL/ELT or Modern Data Stack tools is required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Professional French and Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in relationship selling.
  • Knowledge of MEDDPICC sales methodology.

Compensation

Boomi offers a fair and equitable compensation package. The On Target Earnings (OTE) range is $190,000 to $230,000 CAD annually (including commissions). Final compensation depends on experience, skills, location, and other factors.
