Job summary

Thermea Spa Village Winnipeg is seeking a Full-time Rituals Artisan to bring a world-spanning set of spa rituals to our guests. You will participate in creating new rituals, ensuring top-tier guest experiences, and performing daily treatments in a Nordic-inspired spa setting.

Reporting to the Rituals Manager, you will engage in ongoing training, support routine spa operations, and contribute to a welcoming, calming environment that reflects our wellness philosophy.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer services, the wellness, hospitality (yoga, dance, theater) or tourism industry is an asset.
• Affinity with nature and enjoy learning about herbs and plants.
• Interest in essential oils and natural wellness products; willingness to learn new rituals.

Responsibilities

• Participate in creating new rituals and integrate treatments from around the world into the Spa experience.
• Provide impeccable customer experience according to our brand standards.
• Perform daily rituals and treatments to spa guests and ensure an unforgettable experience.
• Engage in ongoing training and development; follow daily processes and rituals.
• Support opening and closing activities and maintain cleanliness and safety of the site.
• Participate in events, seminars and workshops at the Spa.

Bordered by the Crescent Drive Golf Course and only 20 minutes from downtown Winnipeg, Thermea Spa Village Winnipeg opened its doors in 2015. This relaxation and renewal centre focuses on thermotherapy practices and relaxation techniques from Scandinavian countries. It offers a multisensorial experience in an all-embracing natural setting to contribute to the health and wellness of its guests.

What we need

We are currently seeking a Full-time Rituals Artisan who’s highly motivated to learn new skills and will engage in following our new Rituals Program that we are launching.

Reporting to the Rituals Manager, the Rituals Artisan will participate in bringing the Ritual Experiences to a higher level and ensure our guests have an unforgettable quality time in our spa. Our spa guests will experience spa rituals like German Aufguss, Canadian infusion, Latvian Sauna tradition Pirts, Turkish or Moroccan Hammam, Tibetan singing bowls from all over the world. He/she will spread the spirit of our sauna rituals and treatments in our spa.

What you’ll do

• Participate in the creation of new rituals and integrate treatments from all over the world in the Spa experience;
• Provide impeccable customer experience, according to the standards dictated by our brand;
• Perform daily rituals and treatments to our spa guests and ensure they have an unforgettable experience;
• Participate in continued training and development;
• Follow the daily processes and rituals;
• Participate in organised events, seminars and workshops at the Spa;
• Participate in opening and closing activities of the site by ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the premises;
• Performs any other related duties.

• Experience in customer services, the wellness, hospitality (yoga, dance, theater) or tourism industry, an asset;
• Affinity with nature and enjoy learning about herbs and plants;
• Interest in the use and of essential oils, and natural wellness products;
• Interest in a healthy lifestyle and in the world of Wellness in general;
• Good physical health: tolerance to working in a very hot environment;
• Embodies the spirit of hospitality;
• Curiosity in learning new skills and an ability to speak and perform in front of an audience.
