About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Risk Manager (Commercial / Technical) to implement risk management methodologies and tools, providing guidance to stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and applied consistently.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing program and project risks following Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (CSRA).
  2. Defining risk management frameworks, strategies, and plans, and organizing resources with leadership support.
  3. Conducting risk assessment workshops, identifying risks, evaluating impacts, and developing mitigation measures.
  4. Monitoring risks for high and medium risk projects, updating risk assessments, and tracking mitigation actions.
  5. Leading risk reviews, applying Monte Carlo analysis, and recommending mitigation actions.
  6. Reviewing mitigation costs, budgets, and ensuring contingency reserves are accurate.
  7. Performing cost/benefit analyses of mitigation strategies.
  8. Preparing risk reports and conducting briefings for clients and management.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 3+ years as a Risk Manager or similar role.
  • Experience with Project Controls (cost and schedule).
  • Strong knowledge of risk methodologies and tools, and understanding of Engineering, Operations, and Procurement disciplines.
  • Effective networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in French is required.

Preferred skills

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.

Compensation range

Minimum: $100,700.00; Maximum: $157,300.00
