Our client is looking for a Risk Manager for a long-term project in Toronto, Canada (onsite only). Below are the detailed requirements.

Job Description:
  1. Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Risk Manager or similar role.
  2. Must have experience in either: Safran or Arm (either of these two is required).
  3. Construction / Civil Engineering domain experience is mandatory.
  4. Previous experience or extensive understanding of Project Controls (estimate / cost and schedule).
  5. Ability to apply Monte Carlo analysis to inform and recommend mitigation actions and ensure progress to recovery plans.
  6. Proven knowledge of risk methodology and tools, with understanding of key disciplines including Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Procurement.
  7. Manage program and project risk and opportunity for specific bundles and work packages following Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis.
  8. Define and implement risk management frameworks, strategies, and plans; organize risk management resources with leadership support across participants.
  9. Conduct Risk Assessment Workshops with project teams and program partners.
  10. Lead identification and definition of risks and opportunities, evaluate impacts, and develop mitigation measures to reduce potential cost and schedule impacts.
  11. Manage risk assessment, evaluation, prioritization, and updates for all bundles and work packages.
  12. Monitor and measure mitigation actions to prevent risks.
  13. Participate in regular risk reviews to identify, capture, and agree on risks with project teams and partners.
  14. Review mitigation costs, budgets, and actuals; evaluate risks to ensure contingency reserves support cost control.
  15. Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual risk data analysis reports.
  16. A post-graduate diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field is required.
