Dillon Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will ensure our business units make informed decisions and effectively manage risks related to new opportunities, projects, and contracts. The successful candidate will be well-organized, detail-oriented, and possess a deep understanding of risk management principles and practices. You should have a proven track record of identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in a dynamic environment, along with strong communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities
What Your Day Will Look Like :
  • Collaborate with business units to analyze potential projects and contracts, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Review contracts and related documents to identify risks, collaborating with legal teams on complex issues.
  • Provide guidance during contract negotiations.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including insurance, project management practices, and contingency plans.
  • Conduct training to enhance risk assessment and negotiation skills of teams.
Qualifications
What you will need to succeed :
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Professional, Architecture, or Engineering.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal understanding skills.
  • Experience in risk management and mitigation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proven relationship-building and stakeholder influence abilities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with solid risk management knowledge.
Experience
  • 5+ years in risk management, preferably in consulting.
  • At least 10 years in a related field.
  • Experience working with senior management and technical teams.
