We are hiring a Risk and Compliance Analyst on a permanent full-time basis. This position can be based in Alberta, Ontario, Atlantic Canada, or remotely from other provinces where BrokerLink operates.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and support risk identification, reporting, and monitoring processes.
  2. Advise on technical aspects of risk management, including assessment, mitigation, planning, and reporting.
  3. Develop and oversee risk mitigation actions.
  4. Build and maintain stakeholder relationships for risk management.
  5. Develop audits, analyze findings, and recommend improvements.
  6. Coordinate operational risk information sharing across lines of defense.
  7. Implement analytics and risk reporting capabilities.
  8. Improve internal risk management processes.
  9. Perform administrative duties related to risk and compliance.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a risk or compliance analyst, or related roles such as audit or project management. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Knowledge of insurance brokerage operations and related risks.
  • Solutions-oriented, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent research, analysis, and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess decision impacts in complex environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and PowerBI.
