Job summary

CBCL Limited in St. John’s, NL is seeking a Junior Civil Technologist, Field Services to support surveying, inspection and municipal infrastructure projects. You will work closely with experienced technologists, gaining field training and mentorship to grow into more responsible field and drafting tasks.

The role involves travel across Newfoundland and Labrador, outdoor work, and eventual involvement in field coordination, Civil 3D drafting and project support during quieter periods.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or early-career technologist.
• Experience in surveying, construction inspection or municipal infrastructure is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to travel Newfoundland and Labrador and work outdoors in variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with topographic and infrastructure surveys and progressively lead tasks.
• Support construction inspection and resident-services assignments under guidance.
• Prepare site investigations, measurements, field notes and documentation.
