A leading animation studio is seeking a Supervisor for Rigging in Vancouver. You will oversee the rigging team and collaborate closely with production heads to determine asset requirements. Ideal candidates have 10 years of experience in a 3D studio, solid knowledge in rigging, and excellent communication skills. Supervising riggers interface with production for all asset needs related to rigging and animation. Supervisors inform and deliberate on asset decisions with clients and the other department heads on the production. Supervisors manage the entire rigging team including the lead, if applicable. Supervising riggers are required in all production touchbases, rounds, and client reviews. Supervising riggers will schedule and run internal rigging rounds as they see fit. Supervisors will work closely with the head of animation for the production to establish the animation style and language. Supervisors will establish priorities and deadlines for all assets, including casting amongst the team. Supervising riggers bid all asset work for the show.
Please note that you must be able to provide a demo reel that illustrates your relevant artistic and technical experience that also includes the nuances for this specific role.
