Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of rigging/millwright experience in industrial environment
• Knowledge of rigging equipment, lifting devices, and heavy machinery movement
• Ability to read and follow rigging plans and work instructions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute machinery moves throughout the facility
• Inspect and prepare loads for safe transportation and installation
• Set, align, and level heavy machinery and industrial equipment
• Select and prepare appropriate rigging equipment including beams, pulleys, clamps, bolts, and lifting devices
• Inspect rigging systems before and after use to ensure safe operation
• Monitor, maintain, and properly store rigging equipment
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment to maneuver loads safely
• Support equipment installations, relocations, and maintenance projects
• Ensure compliance with all company safety requirements and rigging procedures
• Communicate effectively with maintenance, rigging, construction, and operations teams during projects
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety and operational efficiency
