Job description

FLINT is seeking Journeyperson Rig Welders with 5 years of experience for a temporary role in Port Moody BC starting June 9. In this position you will enjoy a Mon- Fri schedule 10-hour workdays and benefits after 300 hours worked. The Hourly rate for this position is $105 / hr.

This position does not include camp accommodations living out allowance or travel allowance. Therefore it is best suited for local candidates ; however those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years experience in Oil and Gas.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements :

CSTS-2020

• Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
• WHMIS
• Possess the mandatory welding tickets :
• Class-A
• FCAW / MCAW
• Must have a fully equipped welding truck with valid registration and insurance.
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• Proficient in English both written and verbal communication required.

Additional Information :

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
