Job Title : 29954 -RFR-DTS-038 Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer

Office Location : Onsite & Remote

Business Days : Up to 24 Month

Duration : The duration of the engagement may be for up to a 24-month term. Due to the nature of projects there may be exceptional circumstances where the total term may be extended beyond 24 months. The 24-month term is anticipated to start with a 6-month initial term followed by an 18-month renewal.

SERVICES AND DELIVERABLES

All Services will be performed on-site with primary location at 215 Garry Street Winnipeg in the province of Manitoba regardless of the location of residence of the Proponents resource. The service location of the resource may change as a part of STATEMENT OF WORK between Proponent and Manitoba. Manitoba at its sole discretion may provide an option to work remotely. The remote working rate is the rate at which the proponents resource will work primarily remotely and called onsite if needed at Manitobas sole discretion. The onsite rate is the rate at which proponents resource will work primarily onsite as per the location defined in STATEMENT OF WORK and may work remotely if needed with prior written permission from Manitoba at its sole discretion. The Proponent shall provide discounted remote working rate along with onsite rate for their resources in the submission.

Standard working hours for the resource will be in accordance with Manitoba usual working hours of 8 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm CST (7.25 hours per day) Monday to Friday. Manitoba offices are closed on all Manitoba statutory holidays and these days will be unpaid. Manitoba at its sole discretion may decide that at certain times extended working hours are needed to meet project deadlines. But extended working hours are to cover exceptional circumstances and may not be available during the entire duration of the engagement with the proponents resource. Overtime work cannot be used and billed unless approved by Manitoba with an advanced written approval.

Role Description

• Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing developing and deploying custom applications and integrations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools including Power Apps Power Automate and Power BI.
• Responsibilities :
• Solution Design & Development : Design develop and deploy custom applications and integrations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools.
• Customization & Configuration : Customize Dynamics 365 modules (Sales Service Marketing etc.) and build Power Apps / Power Automate workflows to address business requirements.
• Integration : Integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems (e.g. ERP third-party applications) using web services APIs and connectors.
• Data Analysis & Reporting : Leverage Power BI to create detailed dashboards reports and data visualizations that drive data-driven decision-making.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders : Work with business analysts project managers and other team members to gather requirements ensure proper implementation and meet project milestones.
• Quality Assurance & Testing : Ensure the quality and performance of all applications by performing testing troubleshooting and debugging.
• Coding and Testing : Write test and deploy code to ensure applications meet quality standards of GOM
• Best Practices & Documentation : Develop and maintain technical documentation following best practices for version control release management and deployment.
• Data Management : Oversee data migration data integration and data quality assurance processes.
• Project Management : participate in project planning execution and delivery ensuring projects are completed on time.
• Mentorship / Training : Mentor fellow developers on dynamics related issues and provide technical support to the team to ensure effective use of Dynamics 365

SKILL REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

A clean criminal record check status will be required at the proponents expense prior to the successful Service Provider Resource(s) arriving onsite or working remotely. Maintaining a clean status is required throughout the Proponents contract. An enhanced background check completed by Manitoba may be required on certain projects due to the confidentiality of the materials shared to the Proponent. If the proponent fails they must rectify on their own cost and time.

The following are minimum qualifications and / or experience for the delivery of the Services.

The Resource must have the following minimum qualifications or experience :

Requirements :

Education : Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience :

At least 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI).

Proven experience in developing and customizing Dynamics 365 modules.

Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g. SQL Server) and data modeling.

Experience in integrating Microsoft Dynamics with third-party applications via APIs web services and connectors.

Hands-on experience with model-driven apps canvas apps and custom connectors in Power Apps.

Technical Skills :

Expertise in Dynamics 365 customization and configuration (plugins workflows forms views business rules).

Proficiency in Power Automate for building workflows and automating business processes.

Strong experience in Power BI for creating data visualizations reports and dashboards.

Knowledge of Azure DevOps for version control CI / CD and release management.

Soft Skills :

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
