Role Mission

As an RFP Writer, you will play a critical role in managing, writing, and delivering compelling, accurate, and compliant responses to RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and other procurement-related questionnaires. You will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, security, legal, and leadership teams to craft responses that position our platform as the ideal solution for prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of RFP / RFI / DDQ responses, from intake and content gathering to final submission.
  • Write, edit, and tailor content to address client needs while reflecting the company’s voice and value proposition.
  • Maintain and manage a centralized knowledge base of reusable content. Prior experience with Loopio is beneficial.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Legal, InfoSec, and Engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Track and manage deadlines, approvals, and delivery timelines for multiple concurrent RFPs.
  • Conduct regular content audits to ensure information is accurate, current, and aligned with our evolving offerings.
  • Provide input on ways to improve the proposal process, messaging, and win rates.
  • Support ad-hoc writing needs related to procurement (e.g., security questionnaires, vendor registration forms, etc.).

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience writing RFPs, RFIs, or proposals—preferably in the SaaS, enterprise software, or technology sector.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of business and technical language.
  • Familiarity with RFP response platforms (e.g., Loopio, RFPIO, Qvidian).
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of SaaS delivery models, enterprise sales processes, and procurement best practices.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) is a plus.
  • Experience responding to government or regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare) RFPs is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to quickly understand the Regulatory Change Management industry, terminology and value proposition.
  • Ability to learn and apply the nuances of industry and company ‘tone’ to RFP responses.
