RFP & Contracts Sr. Analyst

Analyze, develop and manage commercial tenders from end to end, with full responsibility in coordinating and driving the tender response with strategic business partners. Review, negotiate and execute commercial contracts with customers, while ensuring quality and legal compliance.

How you’ll make an impact:

  1. Develop tender strategies and project manage tender responses, providing value-added guidance to business team to support optimized company and product positioning.
  2. Collaborate cross-functionally with other internal departments (sales, legal, regulatory, supply chain, marketing, Finance, Customer Relation) to proactively update tender collateral. Ensure tender risks/opportunities are communicated to the business and strategies put into place to minimize risks and maximize opportunities.
  3. Regular check of Provincial and Federal RFP web portals for matching opportunities with company’s product and communicate such opportunities to the business team for bid/no bid decisions.
  4. Remain up to date with Provincial and Federal tender requirements.
  5. Accountability over contract lifecycle management activities, building strong external relationships with customers to support contract implementation strategies.
  6. Create and redline new contracts and contracts amendment, including extensions and renewals. Evaluate prior terms and conditions and propose and/or negotiate revised terms and conditions, where appropriate and based on information provided by the business team.
  7. Interface with internal and external customers for contracts execution while ensuring compliance with established business unit guidelines, including securing appropriate approvals.
  8. Develop improved processes, implement efficiencies based on Identified opportunities for innovations/optimization.
  9. Contracts price management in Model N system including rebates setting and regular reports to business and finance team.
  10. Contracts and RFP management in Sales Force with accountability over regular contracts analysis and reports.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor's Degree in related field, 5 years experience of previous related experience in contract or bid management.

  1. Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel; Model N and Qlik experience preferred.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French (Business Level).
  3. Expert in customer negotiation and relationship management skills.
  4. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  5. Ability to quantify abstract conceptual data into concrete analysis.
  6. Full knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
  7. Full knowledge of sales field operations.

  10. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  11. Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact, representing the organization on contracts or projects.

  13. Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
