Position Summary :

This is a field based position

The RF Integration Technician is responsible for commissioning, optimizing, implementing and correcting DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) across the spectrum. This will include ERRCS, ROIP, Cellular and Wifi Systems. The RF Integration Technician will utilize a structured template to document their findings, report deficiencies to the appropriate, repair faulty components and perform inspections with AHJ’s or customers.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Communicate DAS design requirements and revisions with AWS Engineers.
  • Work with project managers to schedule commissioning and inspections on a weekly basis.
  • Obtain and maintain certifications for all major ERRCS and Cellular manufacturers.
  • Use test equipment (e.g., transmitters, receivers, spectrum analyzers, optic meters, sweep tester) to commission and optimize DAS systems.
  • Provide technical support to field personnel for installation of the best practices.

Education / Certifications :

  • FCC GROL
  • Preferred Nicet IB-PSC Level 1,2 or 3 and Design (Nicet IB-PSC Level 1 required)
  • Manufacture certifications (Fiplex, ADRF, Comba NG, SOLiD, Nextivity, Anritsu to name a few)

Experience / Minimum Requirements :

  • Minimum five (3) years of experience as a DAS / ERRCS integrator.
  • Experience with fire alarm integration.

Other Skills / Abilities :

  • Proficient with DAS integration.
  • Basic on the job math and RF calculations.
  • Ability to read and annotate RF designs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with General Contractors, Trade Partners, Fire Marshals, and Building Owners.
  • Knowledgeable on capacity and coverage limitations across RF.

Compensation and Benefits :

  • Salary : $100,000+ year DOE (Exempt)
