Job summary

Octasic is seeking a Radio Frequency Hardware Designer to design RF cards and analyze transmission chains. You will write system requirements and develop test plans, collaborating with a PLM team to ensure robust RF performance. Travel up to twice yearly may be required.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years in RF design, and are fluent in French and English, capable of handling lab equipment and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant RF circuit design experience up to 6 GHz.
• Excellent knowledge of RF transmission and reception chain analysis.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of the architecture of new RF products.
• Carry out analysis of transmission and reception chains.
• Write hardware and software system requirements to ensure proper RF function.
• Develop system test plans and analyze results.
• Optimize gain controls and power detection.
• Design RF cards and create schema captures.
• Participate in hardware and software design reviews.
• Manage subcontractors: specifications review, design reviews, audits, evaluations.
• Provide second-line support for production and customers.
