Job summary

Canada Life in Winnipeg seeks a Manager, Savings & Retirement Advice and Sales to lead a team of licensed Investment & Retirement Consultants and Wealth Associates. You will drive sales, retention, and client experience through disciplined leadership and data-driven management of sales metrics.

Base salary range is CAD 86,600–CAD 144,300 per year; total rewards discussed with recruiter. This role requires strong governance of processes and exceptional client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, retirement planning or Group Retirement Services.
• LLQP designation or CFP designation is considered an asset.
• Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset; required for Quebec location.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Investment & Retirement Consultants and Wealth Associates.
• Achieve team sales, retention, engagement, productivity, and financial objectives.
• Manage sales metrics: lead volumes, contact rates, appointment conversion, revenue generation.
• Oversee prioritization of opportunities and timely outreach for decisions.
• Lead a two-tier engagement model: Wealth Associates + licensed consultants.
• Coach staff to deliver high-quality advice and strengthen client relationships.
• Develop contact strategies to improve speed-to-contact and conversion.
• Identify opportunities to deepen member relationships and referrals to Canada Life solutions.
• Monitor performance using data and analytics to remove barriers and improve results.
• Ensure compliant execution of advice, sales processes, and service standards.
