Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Alberta is seeking a Lead/Keyholder Retail Team Member in Edmonton to support store operations, cash handling and merchandising. You will help manage daily tasks, assist customers and train teammates as needed.

The role is full-time, hourly with a schedule including evenings and weekends. Prior customer service experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment are key.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum age of 18 or older.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform physical work on a continual basis.
• Knowledge of designer labels, collectibles and antiques (asset).
• Customer service oriented with good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Transporting items to and from the retail floor and merchandising shelves and displays.
• Assisting at cash registers and operating POS system.
• Preparing items for sale by hanging, cleaning and bagging items as needed.
• Inspecting, sorting and grading donated items.
• Identifying and processing recyclable materials as appropriate.
• Training other Goodwill associates on job tasks and paperwork.
• Opening and closing of the site.
• Completing paperwork as required.
