Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Verify stock availability from current inventories. Receive payments. Receive payments from customers. Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list. Perform routine maintenance work. Order supplies and maintain inventory. Organise day-to-day business operations. Manage difficult situations with customers. Maintain inventory of equipment. Deposit cash and maintain daily log books. Balance and deposit cash. Balance cash and record sales. Manage staff and assign duties. Review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase. Provide customer service. Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions. Prepare daily reports of fuel, oil and accessory sales. Reconcile physical inventories with computer counts.
