Retail Store Supervisor

Location: 6751 Lougheed Hwy, Burnaby, BC V5A 1W1

Work setting: Retail business, On-site

Salary: $23.00 per hour, 30 to 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning

Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train staff or arrange for training
• Authorize payments by cheque
• Order and authorize return of merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales, merchandising, and personnel matters
• Resolve customer issues, complaints, and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and coordinate activities of 5-10 workers
