General Managers lead a team of restoration and reconstruction professionals after traumatic events, such as a fire or flood, to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. As a GM, you will oversee company policies and direct activities toward long-range goals for growth and profitability.

  • Base commission on projects completed. Our current GM's yearly pay range from $80,000 to $120,000 depending on results. No limit to earning potential.

Team Qualifications (Requirements) :

  • 5-10 years restoration construction experience
  • 5-10 years management experience
  • 5-10 years Project Management and Estimating experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related experience
  • Experienced at reading, interpreting and managing financial statements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, mentor and bring a diverse group of people together to work effectively
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small or large group situations to customers, homeowners and employees in the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make prudent decisions
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, RMS and Xactimate
  • IICRC Certifications

Role on the Team (Job Functions) :

  • Professionally represent the Paul Davis Restoration Values and Basics
  • Schedule and conduct Goal Setting and Review meetings.
  • Coordinate and discuss financial / operational matters on a regular basis with appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate with Chief Financial Officer / Controller concerning financial status of company.
  • Monitor bank lines of credit, cash flow, and A / R's for overall bank relationship status.
  • Review and discuss sales performance with Operations Manager and Marketing Manager.
  • Review job reports, WIP, and customer relations with Operations Manager, i.e. backlog / contracts signed but jobs not started / flow of WIP / quality control / customer complaints.
  • Discuss and review marketing plans and objectives with Marketing Manager.
  • Review plans and needs of the company.
  • Coordinate and discuss performance including financial and operational performance with all department managers.
  • Review staffing and operational changes needed by departments.
  • Discuss and coordinate personnel policies, procedures and problems on an as-needed basis.
  • Ensure compliance with Franchise Agreement and Operations Manuals
  • Perform other duties as directed by immediate supervisor.
