Following the success of our flagship Toronto location and multiple pop-up stores, we’re opening a new flagship location in Vancouver and we’re looking for an exceptional Store Manager to lead the store with a sense of ownership, operational rigor and a customer-first mindset.
The mission of the Store Manager at Cozey:
As a Cozey Store Manager, you are responsible for the visual appeal and operational excellence of the store. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to the Director of Marketing & Retail that blends people management, operational excellence, and customer experience. You will drive daily store performance, maintain world-class standards, and ensure that our physical retail experience aligns with Cozey’s brand values and business objectives.
What you'll be doing
Operational Leadership & Performance
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, team coordination, floor set refreshes, and upkeep of store presentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory and coordinate shipments for layout updates or transfers.
- Manage store budget and expenses while keeping supplies and services (cleaning, maintenance) in check.
- Establish and evolve simple, effective SOPs that keep everything moving intuitively.
- Track and report daily sales and performance metrics to HQ, ensuring alignment and clarity.
- Lead the team in delivering on Cozey’s sales targets by driving a customer-first mindset, effective floor coverage, and active selling strategies.
- Analyze sales data regularly to identify opportunities, adjust tactics, and implement actionable strategies that support conversion and average transaction growth.
Customer Experience & Brand Elevation
- Ensure every customer interaction feels inviting, supportive, and tailored—whether it’s quick advice or a full consultation.
- Train your team to master Cozey product knowledge and deliver on our easy possibilities promise.
- Collect and share real-time customer and team feedback to help HQ continuously improve.
Team Building & Culture
- Recruit, onboard, and coach ambassadors to grow into confident, customer-first professionals.
- Motivate daily, give constructive feedback, and guide team members through their learning.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5+ years in a store leadership role with strong operational, team building, and customer service experience.
- A builder and doer—you love making systems better, solving problems, and rolling up your sleeves to get it done.
- Obsessed with organization, structure, and keeping operations humming.
- Comfortable with data and dashboards—you use numbers to coach, plan, and improve.
- A natural communicator and motivator, equally skilled at training, listening, and energizing a team.
- Passionate about interior design, retail innovation, and hospitality.
