Role Description

We are looking for a proactive and organizedRetail Store Managerto oversee daily store operations and support our growing business. This is a hands-on role that requires leadership, initiative, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily retail operations and ensure exceptional customer service
  • Search for and maintain quality product selection
  • Manage inventory, product displays, and stock levels
  • Maintain and manage the store’s annual revenue and expense budget
  • Supervise, train, and support staff; manage payroll
  • Take charge of administrative responsibilities and office tasks
  • Maintain and update the online store and company website
  • Execute marketing initiatives, including social media and promotions
  • Develop new gift baskets and creative product ideas
  • Carry out projects as directed by the owner
  • Provide regular reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly)
  • Handle basic bookkeeping and reporting
  • Engage in networking and public relations

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail management or leadership role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to manage inventory, staff, and daily operations
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Familiarity with office software (e.g. Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
  • Basic marketing knowledge (social media, promotions, email campaigns)
  • Project management and planning skills
  • Basic bookkeeping and financial reporting experience
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset
