We’re seeking a Store Manager to lead our Healthy Planet team! The ideal candidate will be versatile, customer-service oriented, tech-savvy, calm under pressure, and proactive in ensuring the store's success.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure smooth store operations and report issues to the Operations Manager, including maintenance of freezers, coolers, HVAC, plumbing, security systems, and pest control.
2. Maintain inventory levels, organize products, manage stock using the ‘Just In Time’ system, and reduce theft through security procedures.
3. Lead marketing efforts, create sales flyers and displays, meet sales targets within budgets, and foster strong customer and vendor relationships.
4. Oversee staff scheduling, training, evaluations, and ensure a safe, professional, and productive environment.
5. Recruit, onboard, and develop staff, and handle employee issues confidentially.
6. Ensure compliance with policies on health and safety, anti-discrimination, and integrity.
7. Manage IT systems including POS, internet, label printers, WiFi, security cameras, and alarms.
8. Handle daily financial operations, including cash management, sales reporting, deposits, and business ratios.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Degree/Diploma in Business Management or related field
• 5-7 years retail management experience, including managing multiple locations
• Valid Driver’s License
• Strong leadership, communication, time management, and negotiation skills
• Experience in sales growth, distribution, account development, and business planning
• Knowledge of retail/wholesale sales principles
• Ability to train, supervise, and build teams
