Job description

Canna Cabana is actively seeking Part Time Shift Leaders who are knowledgeable, responsible, hardworking, dedicated, and mature individuals interested in joining our team. Join us and become an important part of a company where the sky is the limit.

  1. Provide assistance to store management in supervising and facilitating the daily operations of the store.
  2. Oversee the responsibilities of the Store Manager in the absence of SM or ASM.
  3. Assist in the delivery of key personnel management when on shift and resolve customer service issues as needed.
  4. Provide direction, guidance, and instruction to all store associates as required.
  5. Ensure store conditions are upheld to established standards.
  6. Assist in ensuring staffing levels meet business needs, only when requested.
  7. Be the sales and customer service leader/role model in the absence of SM/ASM.
  8. Greet and assist customers, modeling exemplary conduct for staff.
  9. Ensure company policies and relevant legislation are adhered to and upheld by all staff.
  10. Handle customer complaints as they arise, escalating as necessary.
  11. Ensure all health, safety, and security regulations are followed and standards met on shift.
  12. Achieve sales targets and store-level KPIs.
  13. Ensure employees actively pursue sales goals during shifts.
  14. Oversee and assist in inventory management and be accountable for inventory processes on shift.
  15. Must have valid SellSafe and QCW to work in a retail cannabis store.
  16. Completion of high school and college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training required.
  17. Demonstrated sales and service orientation required.
  18. Minimum of 2 years work experience in retail required; cannabis industry preferred.
  19. Excellent time management and prioritizing skills required.
  20. Ability to train and motivate staff required.
  21. Skills to monitor and lead by example as required.
  22. Basic office administration skills required.
  23. High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  24. Strong teamwork skills.
  25. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  26. Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  27. Diplomatic approach.
  28. Team-building skills.
  29. Understanding of applicable health and safety legislation.
  30. Professional, responsive, and positive attitude.
  31. Ability to work nights, holidays, weekends, and at different locations.
