• Unpack merchandise received by the store and count, weigh or sort items.
• Maintain computerized stock inventory.
• Record incoming stock.
• Keep stock and merchandise clean and organized.
• Price merchandise using stamps or stickers according to price lists.
• Attach protective devices to merchandise to help prevent shoplifting.
• Bag, box or prepare customer purchases for shipment or delivery.
• Pick orders.
• Process electronic transactions using computer equipment.
• Operate a cash register.
• Provide customer service.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors.
