Job summary

Advantage Solutions in Regina, Canada, is seeking a Retail Sales Specialist to collaborate with store management, execute client-driven merchandising, and drive product awareness at major retailer locations.

You will educate customers on top brands, meet sales goals, handle planograms, and complete paperwork and reports. Training is provided and compensation is competitive, with hourly pay between CAD 19 and CAD 22.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years in Retail or Food sales.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and Internet usage.

Responsibilities

• Meet client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on all authorized SKUs.
• Communicate effectively with Company management and Customers.
• Increase sales through promotional activity, building displays, and plan-o-gram adjustments.
• Ensure all client items have accurate tags and remove un-saleable products.
• Authorize items to meet Client shelf standards.
• Tag, rotate, and place POS materials on shelf as directed.
• Manage stores within your territory to achieve client goals and standards.
• Complete accurate paperwork and reports on time.

This Retail Sales Specialist job is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who can work effectively with store management to increase retail sales and execute client-driven merchandising that meet the clients expectations. The sales representative will need to be outgoing, friendly, and be able to drive sales and brand awareness for our clients products at major retail locations. You will be engaging and educating the customers on their next purchase of some of the leading brands in retail. The ideal candidate is independent, self-motivated, ambitious, and driven to succeed. CAD 19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Meet client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on all authorized SKUs.
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively both internally with Company management and externally with all Customers.
• Increase sales volume through promotional activity by selling and building displays, creating themes with related items to support holiday/special promo events, and making plan-o-gram adjustments when necessary.
• Maintain client objectives by ensuring all authorized client items represented on the shelf have accurate and complete tags and making certain that un-saleable or out-of-code product is removed.
• Will work on the authorization of items to meet Client shelf schematic standards.
• Must be able to take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials for products on shelf.
• Achieve client goals and objectives by effectively managing stores within your territory and executing projects and standards.
• Will complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc.

Qualifications:

• Education Level: (Required): High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience(Preferred)
• 1-2 year of experience in Retail or Food sales
• Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, to meet deadlines
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage.
