We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Retail Sales Representative to join our team in the Quebec City region.

The purpose of this position

The purpose of the Retail Sales Representative position at Maison Riviera is to contribute to the expansion of sales and brand awareness in the retail sector, by ensuring a strong presence in the field and maintaining key relationships with retailers. This strategic role aims to maximize product availability and visibility, strengthen customer satisfaction and detect market trends to support the company's competitiveness.

Key Relationships

  • The Retail Sales Representative's key relationships include the Retail Sales Manager, sales, distribution and logistics teams, as well as customer service to ensure optimal coordination of commercial activities.

Job Description

  • Visit customers according to a set schedule to market products and ensure their availability at all times.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with key customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Carry out all activities planned in the field sales process, maximizing product visibility to achieve set objectives.
  • Increase volume sales to current and future customers in assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, such as distribution and inside sales.
  • Identify and regularly communicate market developments, including those related to competitors, new products, packaging and commercial activities.
  • Continuously monitor product quality, pricing and inventory, while ensuring follow-up with the Retail Sales Manager.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.
  • Provide quality customer service, tailored to specific customer needs.
  • Represent the company at trade events, conferences and trade shows.

Job Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of retail sales experience, preferably in the retail sector. food.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of market and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite applications.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
